ABOUT THE ROLE

Salary range: $80,000–$100,000 DOE

Location: El Segundo CA/Hybrid Remote Working

ZOO Digital currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Territory Manager to lead all efforts regarding dubbing in Latin America including Latin Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. The Territory Manager will manage and maintain all aspects of ZOO dubbing for the region, including collaboration with directors, voice talents, adaptors, and ZEDS who support the dubbing efforts. Working in conjunction with the other territory managers, this role will ensure consistent methodologies and workflows for dubbing, in sync with other services related to dubbing.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Overseeing all dubbing activities for Latin Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese.
• Responsible for building the ZOO supply chain of Voice Talent, Directors and Adaptors, including identifying, recruiting, training and managing a high-quality dubbing talent pool
• Work closely with other Territory Managers, VPs and Dubbing Project Managers in each region to ensure dubbing projects meet the highest quality and deliver on time and within budget.
• Overseeing key dubbing titles and assigning local production resources accordingly.
• Reviewing and approving creative quality control reports and discuss them, if necessary, with dubbing directors or studios.
• Helping to maintain and develop the internal workflows for the dubbing process.
• Undertaking continual evaluation of processes to ensure the company remains efficient.
• Maintaining communication with the vendors, clients, and internal departments to stay informed with business developments and changes, ensuring production models and processes are ready to adapt to change, new business and growth.
• Participating in regular production meetings to stay up to date of any operations needs and changes of the clients.
• Liaising with production leads to ensure smooth running of technical operations.
• Contributing to the processes and operation of the Dubbing teams.
• Providing mentorship for team members.
• Consulting with territory managers to ensure smooth operating of team members and staff in ZOO.
• Providing effective delegation of tasks to teams empowering them to take on projects.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for bright and passionate individuals with strong experience of leading teams and managing localization workflows in the entertainment industry. The Territory Manager will have previous experience in dubbing, ADR, or audio pre-lay creation as well as supervising dialogue editorial, M&E creation, mixing and performing quality control.

We are also looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; or 7+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Deep knowledge of the dubbing industry.
• Proven experience leading step by step the creative process of dubbing productions.
• Experience in dialogue translation/ adaptation.
• Experience in voice casting supervision.
• Experience in song adaptation is desirable.
• Passion for languages and translation quality.
• Experience in broadcasting, localization, or video film production.
• Experience in managing a team in a similar environment a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly analytical and able to get to the root cause of a problem; able to creatively figure out a solution or propose changes to existing workflows as required.
• Qualification in Project Management desirable.

Due to the nature of the role, fluent English/Spanish language skills are essential. We would also be keen to hear from candidates with fluency in Brazilian Portuguese.
