Coating & Painting Project Coordinator will report to the Coating Corporate Department and will be responsible for analysing, supporting and coordinating both technical and operational aspects related to project coating and painting activities, with particular focus on field joint coating in the pipeline sector.

The candidate will be assigned to a project in Argentina and is expected to play a hybrid role, combining engineering and site supervision responsibilities.

The role requires a proactive and flexible professional willing to coordinate technical aspects as a coating engineer while also supporting production activities, including the effective coordination of foremen and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support wherever issues related to coating or painting arise.
• Organise and attend procedure qualifications (PPT – Pre-Production Test and PQT – Pre-Qualification Test) and follow production activities.
• Analyse technical specifications, regulations and standards applicable to coating and painting activities.
• Define technical requirements and support the preparation of documentation related to coating.
• Prepare project technical documentation (ITP, procedures, method statements, reports, RFIs) and participate in technical meetings when required.
• Provide technical support to the Procurement Department for the selection and purchasing of materials and consumables.
• Provide on-site technical support for coating and painting activities.
• Support production management( Support the Construction Manager) by coordinating site teams and Coating Foremen, ensuring efficiency, quality and compliance with project requirements.

• Experience in pipeline coating, particularly field joint coating.
• Strong ability to combine technical engineering responsibilities with site supervision and team coordination.
• Willingness to work on international projects, specifically in Argentina.
• Good knowledge of Spanish is Stong plus (preferred).
• NACE certification (Coating Inspector or equivalent) is considered as a plus.
