MAGROUP Magnaghi UK is looking for a Business Development Manager. Magnaghi UK Ltd operates within the Aerospace industry – Aerostructures, Landing and Braking Gear, Aero Engines and Avionics. The Group has multiple international facilities: Italy (Naples, Caserta, Brindisi), United States, Brazil, United Kingdom and Canada. MAGROUP Magnaghi Aerospace specializes in design, certification and production of landing-gear systems, aerostructures, hydraulic and electronic systems for both civil and defense aviation.


Magnaghi UK Ltd products and services support major industry programs, and we continue to develop new process streams for the next generation of aircraft. From digital product receipt to machined, treated and or sub-assembled components. Magnaghi UK Ltd’s special processes offers a range of products and supporting services, such as NDT and Paint Facilities, which satisfies and exceeds our customer expectations.

The Business Development Manager based in the UK, plays a strategic role in supporting MA Group in identifying, evaluating, and capitalizing on new growth opportunities across existing and emerging markets. The position is responsible for guiding commercial strategy, strengthening market positioning, and establishing value-driven partnerships that contribute to the Group’s expansion, revenue growth, and long-term competitiveness.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify new market opportunities through in-depth analysis of trends, competitors, and target audiences.
  • Develop business development strategies and action plans aimed at generating new revenue streams and expanding market presence.
  • Present the Group’s products, services, and capabilities to key stakeholders, clients, and potential partners.
  • Support the internal teams in assessing the market fit of new products and initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, partners, and industry players.
  • Implement and optimize CRM tool to improve relationship management and opportunity tracking.
  • Analyze commercial performance metrics (conversion rates, pipeline status, customer feedback) to enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Identify and assess potential funding opportunities, including venture capital, grants, and strategic partnerships.
  • Contribute to marketing and go-to-market strategies, ensuring resource optimization and alignment with business goals.

  • Proven experience in business development in Aerospace (minimum 5-years), sales strategy, or growth advisory, ideally in structured environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market dynamics and competitive landscapes.
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation capabilities, with a long-term partnership mindset.
  • Strategic thinking combined with an entrepreneurial and results-oriented approach.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools and commercial performance metrics.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in close alignment with top management.
  • Excellent command of English; additional languages are considered a plus.
