Our client is a tech company operating in the cybersecurity space, focused on innovative solutions for secure web browsing in enterprise environments. For this client, we are looking for a Business Developer.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the development and expansion of the business in the markets of Northern Italy and Northern Europe, with a particular focus on the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland).
This role will be key in building strategic relationships, identifying new market opportunities, and driving revenue growth through innovative solutions and services in the field of Cyber Security. Main Responsibilities:- Define and implement business development strategies in the initial target territories: Northern Italy and the DACH region.
- Identify, engage, and acquire new enterprise clients, building long-lasting and valuable relationships.
- Promote and enhance technological solutions and Cyber Security services in synergy with technical and product teams.
- Analyze markets, trends, and competitors to identify growth opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Manage the full opportunity development cycle: from initial qualification to negotiation and contract closure.
- Collect and analyze market and performance data to optimize expansion strategies.
- Contribute to incremental revenue growth and achievement of assigned business targets.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and international meetings in the Cyber Security sector.
Ideal Profile:- A professional with solid experience in the Tech or Cyber Security industry, capable of operating in international and complex environments.
- Strategic vision, entrepreneurial mindset, and innovation-oriented.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with C-level stakeholders and technology partners.
- Passion for technology as a driver of growth and competitive differentiation.
- At least 8 years in business development or partnership roles within the Tech / Cyber Security / IT Services sector.
- Fluent English (mandatory)
- German (highly appreciated)
- Technical-commercial background with knowledge of key cyber defense technologies, cloud security, and digital risk management.
- Strong analytical skills (data analysis, market insights, forecasting, CRM).
- Results-oriented mindset, with the ability to create value and accelerate revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
- Willingness to travel within Italy and abroad.
