Selection 90888/c – We are looking for a highly qualified Landscape Architect with proven experience in designing and leading large-scale landscape projects, particularly for major developments in the Gulf and Arabian region.
Our client is a multidisciplinary architecture and engineering firm based in Saudi Arabia, established in 2004 and backed by over thirty years of industry experience. The firm specializes in architectural design, urban planning, heritage rehabilitation, and engineering services, offering comprehensive solutions to both public and private sector clients.

In this role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and delivering innovative, sustainable, and contextually appropriate landscape designs for large-scale commercial, residential, and urban development projects. Your leadership will ensure that these projects integrate seamlessly with the built environment, enhance the aesthetic appeal, and contribute to the cultural and environmental sustainability of the region. Key Responsibilities:- Lead the landscape design process for major projects, from initial concept through to final execution.
- Oversee all phases of landscape architecture, including site analysis, planning, design, and implementation.
- Integrate sustainable design strategies, including drought-tolerant planting, efficient irrigation systems, and water conservation practices—ensuring landscapes are resilient and adapted to the region’s harsh climate conditions.
- Collaborate and coordinate closely with architects, urban planners, civil engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of landscape elements within overall project designs.
- Develop landscape concepts that reflect the cultural heritage and traditions of the Gulf and wider Arabian region, while addressing environmental challenges such as extreme heat, aridity, and limited water availability.
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of landscape architects, designers, horticulturists, and technicians.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients—presenting design proposals, offering expert guidance, and ensuring alignment with their vision and project goals.
- Ensure that all landscaping works meet high-quality standards, are executed according to specifications, and comply with local regulations and environmental guidelines. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
- Oversee budgeting and resource allocation for landscape design and implementation. Manage the procurement of plants, materials, and equipment to ensure cost-effective solutions and adherence to project budgets.
Must Have: - Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 5–10 years of experience in landscape architecture and master planning, with a focus on mega projects such as parks, cities, and corniche developments. Experience in the Gulf and Arabian region is preferred.
- Expertise in landscape design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
- Experience in managing budgets, timelines, and resources for complex projects.
- Fluent English.
